Customer Information

Questions concernant tout ce qui concerne customer information

You can fill in our registration form to become a customer. To become a customer of Rimba, you must be in possession of a valid VAT number and registration with the Chamber of Commerce. After our sales department has checked your account information, you are able to log in with your email address and password.

You can only place an order with us if you are a registered customer and logged in on to our website. Simply enter a term, product name, brand, article number or EAN code in the search bar and relevant products will appear. Items can be easily added to your shopping cart by clicking the ‘in shopping cart’ button. Click on ‘Shopping Cart’ for an overview of all items that are currently in your cart. In your shopping cart, you are able to make any changes to your order before completing it. Select the correct delivery address and your order has been placed. Our warehouse will start working on your order!

There are two other methods to easily and quickly place an order. This can be done through two forms: a Quick Order or a Batch Order.

All new customers receive our catalogs, which will be included in your first order. All catalogs are also available online as PDF for our registered customers in the downloads section.
 

It is possible to receive testers of our products to recommend, demonstrate and let your customers feel the product. Many testers are not shown on our website. Contact us for more information: we are happy to help you set up your store properly!

When filling in our registration form, you can already sign up for our newsletter. You are able to unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking ‘My Account’ and ‘Information’, where you can click the box: ‘Sign up for our newsletter’. Establish your preferences regarding the newsletter here (login required).

Our newsletter contains the latest products and interesting offers. In this way, you will be informed of all updates in our assortment.

Pricing Information

The prices shown on our website are wholesale prices. The recommended retail price can be found on our website next to the wholesale price, called RRP.
 

All wholesale prices on our website are shown excluding VAT. The Recommended Retail Price is shown on our website including VAT. If your company is located in the Netherlands, we will charge you VAT. The VAT rates are automatically applied in our system. If you are located within the European Union and have provided us with a valid VAT number, we will not charge you VAT. This also applies to companies located outside the European Union. These companies have to pay custom fees and import duties of their country.

Yes, we can offer discounts. This depends on the following factors:

  • The brand
  • The type of product
  • Your purchase volume
  • Your annual sales volume

Shipping costs are partially charged. These costs are not shown on our website or on the order confirmation you receive. The shipping costs are based on the weight and size of your total shipment as soon as it is ready for transport. The calculated freight costs can be found on your invoice as “FREIGHT & HANDLING”.

Order Information

Yes, we work with a minimum order amount of € € 150. Contact our sales department for the possibilities regarding an order below € 150.

Backorders are handled as you prefer. Normally, backorders are not saved and you can order the products that have not been delivered again with your next order.

If you want us to maintain and deliver your backorders:

All products that couldn’t be delivered in your order, will be collected in a backorder. As soon as these products are back in stock, they will automatically be sent with your next order. A backorder cannot be sent separately.

Did you forget something or do you want to add something to your existing order? Contact us as soon as possible by calling or emailing us. We will do our best to process your order!

Below each product on our website, you can see a stock indicator with 3 different colors:

Green     The product is in stock.

Orange   The product is low on stock.

Red         The product is out of stock.

You can always contact our sales department about the expected delivery date of the preferred product.

After your order has been processed and your package is ready for shipment, we send you an invoice by email, including the following payment options:

• Bank transfer

Please send a proof of payment of your bank transfer to sales@rimba.eu. State your invoice number, customer number and the date for a quick process. Our bank details are automatically sent with your invoice by mail.

• PayPal

If you wish to pay by PayPal, you need the following payment address: paypal@rimba.nl

• Creditcard

You can pay with your VISA or Mastercard. Please contact our sales department by calling +31 765414484 or mailing us at sales@rimba.eu for further instructions.

• Complaints about incorrect or damaged parcels as well as defect articles or packaging must be reported within 8 days of the invoice date

Our aim is to ship your order the same day. Orders received before 2:00 p.m. are usually shipped the same day.

Please note: The sooner you place your order, the better we can guarantee that your order will be shipped the same day.
 

Rimba has chosen UPS to transport your parcels. UPS is known for their excellent reputation regarding B to B deliveries. Do you want to buy products from Rimba, but are you located outside the European Union? No problem, we know how to deal with customs documents, export and import and delivery times.

Yes! As soon as your parcel has been received by UPS, you will automatically receive a Track & Trace link. This allows you to track your order. If this is not working or if you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact us!

Yes, this is possible. Before completing your order, you are able to see an overview of all addresses registered in our system. You can choose, change or delete the delivery address and billing address.

Please note: To be sure we receive the change in your address, leave a message or remark mentioning the new address during the last step of placing your order.

Yes, it is possible to pick up your order yourself or by your carrier at our warehouse in Breda, the Netherlands. This gives you the following benefits:
 

  • • You don’t pay shipping costs
  • • We don’t work with a minimum order amount
  • • You pick up your order when you want (during opening hours)

Return policy & defects

Rimba aims for customer satisfaction and excellent service. However, it can happen that a product is defective, does not work properly or that another problem occurs. Find more information about our return policy below.

Please note: We can only process products with technical or manufacturing flaws. From a hygienic point of view, we can only accept returned products if they have throughly cleaned. Products that are badly cleaned or not at all cleaned will not be accepted and will be returned to you in the same condition.

 

Rimba’s return policy:

• Please contact our sales department for advice, help or tips before sending your returned items.

• We offer a one year warranty, counting from the date of our invoice, on all articles purchased from Rimba.

• Defects must be returned to Rimba in the original packaging, together with a complete return form.

• Our technical department will check each item individually and determine whether the claim is under warranty.

• If the claim is justified, we will send you a credit note to settle with your next order.

• The return of defect goods happens at your own expense and will not be reimbursed by Rimba.

We’re sorry that your package has been damaged during transport. We want to solve this as soon as possible. If you receive your package and notice damage, please report this immediately at the time of the delivery with the driver. You can find catalogs, logos, product images and product sheets when you click on 'Downloads' (login required). The size chart and an overview of the manuals for our Rimba Toys are accessible to all website visitors. 

Yes, if you are logged into our website you have access to all our download files. Therefore, you have permission to use our images and descriptions for your website. However, a number of conditions apply:

• You can only save the images and/or descriptions for private use and not forward this information to third parties or other parties.
• The images should serve solely as a purpose to sell the products mentioned in the image.
• The sold items must be original and purchased from Rimba.
• The concerned images cannot be placed on platforms such as eBay, Amazon, bol.com and similar websites. Permission to sell on these platforms should be requested first.

You can obtain API keys through the 'my account' section on our website. 
Enter a description for the API key, and click create. The API key will appear once. Make sure you save it properly and securely, because after that you can never retrieve it again.

How unfortunate, but that can happen to anyone. 
Go to the 'API keys' section on our website, and find your API key in the list. Click revoke, and then create a new API key. 
Your old API key has become invalid and can no longer be used.
